Resilience and Sustainability: Key Theoretical-Practical Narratives and War-Economic Lessons
Abstract
Purpose: to analyse the main theoretical aspects of the formation of the conceptual apparatus of “sustainability” and “resilience” of the economy, their interrelationship and their impact on the ability of economic systems to adapt to change and recover from crises.
Method: analysis; synthesis; comparison; formalization and evaluation of the material; abstraction and conjunctural analysis (thinking).
Findings: the authors notes that the “resilience” of the economy is a dynamic process that ensures rapid recovery of the national economy aftershocks through adaptation and structural changes, while the "sustainability" of the economy reflects the ability of the system to withstand external shocks without significant transformation; he also notes that their combination is crucial for maintaining the military power of states and ensuring long-term economic development, and emphasizes that the development of transnational processes can contribute both to recovery (resilience) and to sustainability (sustainability).
Theoretical implications: is to clarify the conceptual differences between the conceptual apparatus of “sustainability” and “resilience” of the economy, to reveal their interaction in the context of crisis adaptation and recovery of economic potential, and to identify key factors that contribute to the long-term stability and development of economies.
Paper type: theoretical, descriptive, practical, methodical.
