Individual digitalization as an element of development of foreign countries: experience for Ukraine
Abstract
Purpose: is the relevance of defining the concept of “digitalisation” and analysing its changes in a number of foreign countries, as well as highlighting the importance of studying this process as a modern mandatory element of the development and protection of economies.
Method: analysis; synthesis; comparison; formalization and evaluation of the material; abstraction and conjunctural analysis (thinking).
Findings: the article highlights the peculiarities of the conceptual apparatus of the term “digitalisation”; outlines the nuances of the development of some business models of the military-industrial complexes of the countries studied as an element of digital transformation; calculates the indicators of digitalisation and determines the timeframe of the digital transformation of the respective countries.
Theoretical implications: is to make readers aware of the importance of assessing individual digitalisation indicators and taking digital transformation into account when forecasting the long-term development of countries.
