Analysis of Russiaʼs military expenditures and their structure in the period 2010-2022 (some aspects of the impact of the Russian-Ukrainian war and consequences for Ukraine)
Abstract
Purpose: is an analysis of the volume of Russiaʼs military expenditures and their structure in the period 2010-2022 with the aim of identifying the trends of the RFʼs preparation for the war with Ukraine, as well as with the aim of revealing the military losses of the RF in the Russian-Ukrainian war and forming recommendations regarding the economic countermeasures of the countries of the world and Ukraine.
Method: the main methods of research are methods of system analysis and synthesis of economic processes, regression and correlation analysis, methods of economic theory and economic logic.
Findings: the structure of RFʼs military expenditures during the researched period is disclosed, the main trends of its change over the years are determined, a forecast for 2023 is formed based on the volume of military expenditures, conclusions are drawn regarding RFʼs actions in the war, and practical recommendations are determined regarding the economic and organizational opposition to RFʼs by the countries of the world and Ukraine.
Theoretical implications: the main results of the research on the topic of the article are: the results of the analysis of Russiaʼs military expenditures and their structure for the period under study, as well as the formed recommendations regarding RFʼs economic and organizational countermeasures in war conditions.
