Development of Foreign Countries' Economic Potential as a Catalyst for Strengthening their Military Power
Abstract
Purpose: to conduct the rate analysis of change in economic potential indicators of foreign countries in the context of assessing ways to enhance their military power, as well as highlight the dynamics of key economic, political, and social factors influencing the development of national economies over the period from 2014 to 2024.
Method: analysis; synthesis; comparison; formalization and evaluation of the material; abstraction and conjunctural analysis (thinking).
Findings: the interrelation between a state's economic power and its military strength has been highlighted based on an analysis of the dynamics of key economic, political, and social indicators that influence national economic development. A comparative assessment of countries' potential capabilities to enhance their military strength has been conducted using a "point-based" evaluation system.
Theoretical implications: the research findings can be used to analyze the economic potential of countries as one of the elements in the mechanism for enhancing the military power of foreign states, improving the efficiency of strategic planning for defense expenditures, and advancing the theory of studying key economic, political, and social factors that serve as indicators of the development or decline of a state's military power.
Paper type: theoretical.
