The main theoretical and practical aspects of conducting proxy wars and hybrid wars in the modern global geopolitical and security environment: history, theory, practice, forms and methods, experience for Ukraine
Abstract
Purpose: is to define views on the formation of the main theoretical and practical aspects of conducting proxy wars and hybrid wars in the modern world geopolitical and security environment.
Method: the main methods of research are methods of: analysis; synthesis; comparison; formalization and assessment of the material; abstraction and conjunctive analysis (thinking).
Findings: are: analysis of the main theoretical features of preparation and conduct of proxy wars and hybrid wars; historical analysis of the formation of existing approaches to defining the concepts of proxy wars and hybrid wars; a comparative analysis of the features of preparing and conducting proxy wars and hybrid wars with the determination of their differences and similarities in approaches; determination of the main stages of preparation for the resolution and conduct of proxy wars and hybrid wars, as well as the formation of views on the main stages of the post-war period; definition of tools, possible forms and methods of proxy wars and hybrid wars; formation of possible prospects for their replacement in the future.
Theoretical implications: the theoretical value of the research consists in determining the conceptual and theoretical-methodological foundations of the research regarding the development of concepts and processes of proxy wars and hybrid wars in the modern world security environment.
