Psychological and Pedagogical Support for Children and Youth in Martial Law. Focus: Emotional Recovery, Safety in Education, Adaptation to Change
Abstract
Purpose: to consider the main features of psychological and pedagogical support for Ukrainian children and youth in martial law. The main focus of the study is to concentrate on the emotional recovery of children and youth during the war, ensuring safety in education, and adaptation to change.
Method: The work is based on the analysis of effective tools for emotional recovery, the development of mechanisms for ensuring psychological safety in educational institutions, and the promotion of the resilience of children and adolescents in modern conditions of instability.
Findings: an analysis of modern research on the topic of psychological and pedagogical support for children and youth in martial law conditions was conducted; key areas of measurement of psychological and pedagogical support for children and youth in martial law conditions were identified; an analysis of the components of each dimension was conducted and problems - features - ways to solve these problems were identified; practical recommendations were developed to improve the psychological and emotional recovery of children and youth in the conditions of ongoing martial law in Ukraine.
Theoretical implications: The article expands scientific ideas about psychological and pedagogical support for Ukrainian children and youth under martial law. The proposed approaches and recommendations can be used to improve state policy in the field of educational activities and the development of educational programs.
