Assessment of military-economic conditions for the development of the armed forces of countries around the world and Ukraine as a basis for ensuring the military-economic security of the state
Abstract
The purpose of the article is to conduct a comparative analysis of the military-economic conditions for the development of the Armed Forces of countries around the world and Ukraine, with the subsequent formation of their ratings. The main results of the article are: proposed views on improving existing approaches to calculating the volumes of necessary defense resources for the effective development of the Armed Forces, as well as identifying the main economic factors that influence it. The detailed analysis of the military-economic conditions for the development of the Armed Forces of the countries of the world and Ukraine in the period 2016-2019 conducted in the article allowed to form a rating assessment of the military-economic conditions for the development of the armed forces of these countries in comparison with Ukraine. The theoretical value of the study lies in improving existing approaches to calculating the volumes of necessary defense resources for the effective development of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
