Improving Scientific Methodology for Substantiating Extended Service Life of Aircraft Radio-Electronic Equipment
Abstract
Purpose. To improve the scientific and methodological apparatus for substantiating the extension of the service life of radio-electronic equipment of Ukrainian state aviation aircraft.
Method. The methodology is based on existing scientific and methodological approaches for assessing the reliability of complex technical systems, to which aircraft radio-electronic equipment belongs.
Findings. Based on the research and analysis of mathematical models for assessing and forecasting the operational reliability indicators of radio-electronic equipment with a software-regulated (scheduled) strategy for their operation, the mathematical model of reliability with a delayed argument has been improved in terms of determining the delay time.
Theoretical implications. The results of the study can be used for further empirical research on determining the residual service life (resource) and substantiating the continued operation of aircraft radio-electronic equipment.
Paper type. Theoretical.
