Modelling of operational and office activities of the border detachment in the conditions of techno genic situations in a special period
Abstract
Purpose: the aim of the work was to analyse the content of modelling in the security and defence sector for Ukrainian society.
Design/Method/Approach: the main research methods were search and bibliographic (in order to systematize and organize the information base); system and subject analysis (to clarify the content of key concepts on the research problem); analysis of the problem in the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine; analysis of scientific and methodological literature, dictionary literature, analysis of the content (essential features) in the definition of “model” (reflection of a fact, object and relationship of a particular environment in the form of a somewhat simplified, visualized material representation), “modelling” (procedure for creating a certain analytical description of individual parties, parts of the object in certain relationships and relations, which facilitates the combination of individual and general elements), “emergency” (a situation that challenges the social perception of a certain (permissible) state of affairs, values, security of the state).
The results of the study: the study revealed the following: modelling is an advanced method of optimizing the operational and service activities of the border detachment in peacetime and wartime, the essence of the concepts of modelling and emergency.
The theoretical value lies in the compilation of popular scientific views on the problem of research.
The practical value of the study is that the features of modelling the operational and service activities of the border detachment in the context of a man-made situation during a special period.
Future research: the following are identified as promising areas of further research: analysis of the specifics of simulation modelling in the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
