The method of organizing the work of the management bodies of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine regarding the planning of operational and service activities
Abstract
Purpose: improvement of the methodology of the management bodies of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine regarding the planning of operational and service activities.
Design/Method/Approach (only for empirical papers): The methodology is based on an approach based on the construction of a network model, the nodes of which are the state of completion of planning procedures, and the arcs are the process of performing these actions or procedures. The methodology is developed on the basis of the method of network planning and management.
Findings: the methodology of the management bodies of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine regarding the planning of operational and service activities in modern conditions has been improved.
Theoretical implications (if applicable): the technique allows with sufficient adequacy to present the most essential aspects of the work process of management bodies during the planning of operational and service activities and ensures a rational sequence of management procedures.
Originality/Value: the novelty of the methodology lies in the formation of new procedures for the management of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine and the sequence of their implementation in the process of planning operational-service activities for the next calendar year or other period. Unlike the existing methods, the method takes into account additional planning procedures, namely: assessment of the general level of risks and assessment of the effectiveness of operational and service activities.
Future research: in the course of further research, it is expedient to create a database of typical work procedures of management bodies, including with the use of automation tools, as a component of a complex model of the decision support system regarding operational and service activities for the protection of the state border.
