Dependence of success in battle (operations) on the initial ratio of forces and means of parties and the degree of fortification equipment of the lane of defense
Abstract
In the article, based on the analysis of historical examples and provisions of the combat (field) charters, a methodological approach is proposed to predict the success of the parties in the battle (operation), depending on the qualitative initial correlation of forces and means of the parties and the degree of fortification equipment of the defense strip. The proposed methodological approach may be the basis for improving the methodology for evaluating variants of the method of conducting an operation (battle).
