Optimizing the debt determinant of increasing the defense capability of Ukraineʼs partner countries as the basis of the national long-term strategy
Abstract
Purpose: is environment influencing the dynamics assessment of the internal and external public and private debt to GDP ratio of Ukraine's partner in the context of regional tensions, as well as identification of imbalances in debt servicing, taking into account the critical limit of their volume, which indirectly affects the state’s defense capability.
Method: analysis; synthesis; comparison; formalization and evaluation of the material; abstraction and conjunctural analysis (thinking).
Findings: the article emphasizes the need to take into account the ratio of internal, external and household debt to GDP of Ukraine's partner countries when identifying imbalances in debt service, taking into account the critical limits of their volume, and analyzes the current economic environment, the state of which implicitly affects the defense capability of these countries.
Theoretical implications: selecting Ukraine's partner countries with problematic fiscal policies to ensure that their own debt is below the "critical limit," which affects their financial capacity.
