The role and place of robotic systems in modern wars and armed conflicts: theoretical aspect

Keywords: robotic systems, robotic systemstasks of robotic systems on the battlefield, threats to the development of robotic systems, Armed Forces of Ukraine

Abstract

Purpose: is to determine the role and place of robotic systems in modern wars and armed conflicts, the main tasks they can perform on the battlefield, and recommendations for reducing external and internal threats to the development of robotic systems at the current stage of development of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Method: methods of analysis and synthesis, methods of induction and deduction, methods of expert survey.

Findings: are identified historical examples of the use of robotic (robotic) systems in wars and armed conflicts; the main tasks of robotic systems and their content are formed; identified internal and external threats that may affect the development of robotic systems in the Armed Forces of Ukraine; threats to the development of robotic systems in the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the context of the ongoing Russian-Ukrainian war are identified; received expert assessments of the likelihood of threats, the importance of their impact, and assessments of Ukraine's ability to overcome internal and external threats in the field of development of robotic systems; developed recommendations for reducing external and internal threats to the development of the RS at the current stage of the development of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Theoretical implications: the theoretical value of the article consists in determining the role and place of robotic systems in modern wars and armed conflicts, as well as the formation of the main tasks that they can perform on the battlefield and recommendations for their effective use.

Paper type: theoretical, descriptive, practical, methodical.
