Аnalysis of threats to the security environment in the border space
Abstract
Purpose: to analyze the state of threats to the security environment in the border area.
Design/Method/Approach (only for empirical papers): the analysis is based on an analytical method based on the assessment of facts and information regarding the state of the security environment in the border area.
Findings: the analysis was carried out and recommendations were made to the management bodies of the State Border Service of Ukraine regarding the planning of operational and service activities in modern conditions.
Theoretical implications (if applicable): the analysis makes it possible to introduce with sufficient adequacy the basic principles of integrated border management, introduce systemic reforms, increase the capabilities of the service, ensure the appropriate level of border security and restore full control over the state border within the de-occupied territories, the organization of its protection.
Originality/Value: the novelty lies in the discovery of new threats and ways to prevent them in the border area.
Future research: in the course of further research, it is advisable to develop mechanisms for ensuring the appropriate level of border security.
