Method of calculating the consequences of breaking (destruction) of hydrotechnical structures of critical infrastructure
Abstract
Purpose: Reduction of losses of military units and units performing tasks in the territory affected by the enemy’s destruction of the dam by using the methodology for calculating the consequences of the destruction of hydroelectric facilities.
Method: the main research methods are methods of decomposition, system analysis, mathematical modeling and forecasting methods.
Theoretical implications: 8 dangerous factors that arise as a result of the destruction (damage) of hydraulic units and can cause losses and affect the performance of a combat mission have been identified.
Practical implications: the practical consequences resulting from the destruction (damage) of hydraulic nodes were established, a comparative analysis was carried out with the consequences of the influence of factors of weapons of mass destruction.
Value: an algorithm of the method of calculation of consequences in the case of breaches (destruction) of dams of hydrotechnical structures of critical infrastructure was developed, a comparative analysis was carried out with the consequences of weapons of mass destruction.
Papertype: practical.
