Aspection of directions for improving in the area of government regulation, expertise and social insurance for occupational safety and health

Abstract

Purpose: aspection of directions of increasing the effectiveness of government regulation in the area of high-risk objects and high-risk works, as well as the direction of reforming the social insurance system in the area of occupational safety and health to encourage the employer to develop the state of professional safety at the enterprise.

Design/Method/Approach: Analysis of scientific and technical literature and regulations on occupational safety and health in the area of government regulation, high risk objects expertise and social insurance.   

Findings: are development, within the framework of methods of expertise of these objects, algorithm of actions of expert and criteria of compliance of documentation with occupational safety and health requirements; establishment of requirements for conducting compulsory personal examination of such objects and psychophysiological examination of executor of high-risk works.

Theoretical implications: The analysis of the main problems in government regulation in the area of high-risk objects, as well as social insurance are carried out.

Practical implications: The results of the study can be used by the relevant authorities to prepare proposals for improving the area of government regulation of high-risk objects and social insurance.

Originality/Value: The main directions for improving the procedure of government expertise of high-risk objects and high risk works and the area of compulsory social insurance in Ukraine are defined.

Research limitations/Future research: The results of the study provide the basis for the further development of draft amendments to regulations in the field of high-risk objects and social insurance.
